LOST AND FOUND PET LISTING

• If you have lost or found a pet, please register the pet on our website.
• You should also check to see if the pet has an embedded microchip or take the animal to the closest veterinary clinic or shelter to be scanned. The microchip is just like a pet tag and lists the owner’s information.
• Pets may have wondered into neighboring zip codes, so be sure to check other areas close to your home.
• To further insure reuniting pets with their owners, follow the steps listed in the Checklist.

CAUTION: If you think you have found the pet’s owner, it is important that you withhold some information regarding the pet you have found. This will prevent you from turning the animal over to anyone but the rightful owner. Ask to see a photo of the dog or some proof of ownership, such as vet records. If the person cannot provide verification, take down their contact information.
